Generation Chef
An all-island culinary competition coordinated by Rotary in partnership with catering colleges across Northern Ireland and the Republic. Student chefs compete in teams of three, learn from industry professionals, and earn recognition for the work they do behind a hot pass.
Fired up, focused, and given a real stage
Generation Chef takes the energy of a competitive professional kitchen — the timing, the plating, the service standards, the working as one team — and gives student chefs a season’s worth of it. The format runs over twelve weeks each spring: six regional college finals across the island, followed by an inter-college championship where the winning teams from each region cook for the overall title.
