Each year, District 1160 presents awards to clubs that demonstrate excellence in public image. These awards recognise effort, creativity, and impact — not just the clubs with the biggest budgets.

Best Club Social Media Presence

Recognising consistent, engaging, and on-brand social media activity that raises awareness of Rotary in the community.

Best Club Newsletter or Communication

For clubs that keep their members informed and engaged through excellent written communications.

Best Use of Media / PR

Recognising clubs that have secured meaningful coverage in local or national media for Rotary projects and events.

Most Improved Public Image

For clubs that have made significant progress in their public image efforts during the year.

Public Image Champion of the Year

An individual award for a Rotarian who has made an outstanding contribution to Rotary’s public image in Ireland.

Rotary International Awards

Rotary International also offers global public image awards. District 1160 clubs are encouraged to submit entries for RI-level recognition.
