Youth
Investing in the next generation — leadership, confidence, and a global perspective. From secondary school Interactors to twenty-something Rotaractors to Strasbourg-bound debate finalists.
Practical leadership, not abstract idealism
Rotary’s youth programmes don’t just talk about leadership — they hand young people real projects, real budgets, and real responsibility. The skills are immediate. The friendships and confidence last for life.
Across District 1160, our clubs run programmes that develop leadership, build confidence, and give young people the chance to make a real difference — in their communities, in their schools, and abroad.
The range covers ages 12 to 30. Some programmes are run weekly through the school year; others are intensive multi-day events; others are year-long international exchanges. The pattern is the same across all of them: hands-on experience, paired with adult mentorship from Rotarians.
From age 12 to age 30
Each programme has its own format, age range, and focus — but they share Rotary’s service ethos and global network. Click through for the detail of how each one runs.
