Rotaract
Rotaract is Rotary for young adults aged 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are self-governing, community-focused, and connected to Rotary’s global network of over 1.4 million members.
What Rotaract offers
Community service — Rotaract members design and run their own service projects, tackling issues they care about in their communities.
Professional development — Through mentoring, networking, and skills workshops, Rotaract helps young professionals grow.
Global connections — Rotaract is active in over 180 countries. Members connect with peers worldwide through projects, exchanges, and conferences.
Leadership experience — Running a Rotaract club means managing budgets, chairing meetings, coordinating volunteers, and leading teams — all practical, transferable skills.
Friendship — At its heart, Rotaract is about building genuine friendships with people who share your values.
From Rotaract to Rotary
Many Rotarians began their journey in Rotaract — including the current Rotary International President, Olayinka Babalola, who joined Rotaract as a teenager in Nigeria. Rotaract is a natural pathway into Rotary membership, but it’s also a meaningful experience in its own right.
