Our mission
Bringing people together to make things happen — across the island, and around the world.
Rotary in Ireland exists to bring together people who want to give something back — to their communities, to the island, and to the world.
Across 66 clubs, our members use their time, skills, and connections to tackle problems that matter: supporting young people, improving health, responding when communities are in crisis, and working to eradicate polio for good.
We don’t do this for recognition. We do it because it needs doing, and because we’re better at it together.
The Rotary mission
As set by Rotary International:
We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Our vision
Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
What that looks like in Ireland
- It looks like 14 members in Cork sorting 600 coats on a Saturday morning.
- It looks like a club in Belfast raising funds to vaccinate a child in Pakistan against polio.
- It looks like a secondary-school student in Galway visiting the European Parliament for the first time through our Youth Leadership programme.
- It looks like a new member in Naas finding a purpose they didn’t know they were looking for.
Be part of what comes next.
If any of this resonates with you, the next step is to find your local Rotary club and visit a meeting. No obligation, no commitment — just a conversation with people who decided this mattered.
